PRESS RELEASE
FOR-Bangladesh Association, Germany, (along with Interplast, Germany, Hungary & Netherlands) have arranged a medical team to treat the victims of recent political violence in Bangladesh and would visit Dhaka
from 4th till 13th April 2015.

They will operate in two teams at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), and also give advanced training to the local surgeons & nurses.
All operations would be recorded on Video, and would be shown live to the local doctors as part of their advanced training.
At the end of each day, a briefing/discussions would be held with the local doctors.
An opening ceremony would be held at 15:00 on 6th April 2015 at DMCH, (NIBPS Conference Center), Dhaka by the Honourable Health Minister, attended by H. E. Ambassador of Germany, Minister Counsellor, European Union Delegation to Bangladesh, Health Secretary, DG Health, Prof. Habib Millat, MP, Dr. S.L. Sen., Hon.Advisor of NIBPS, Prof. Kalam, Head of NIBPS and other dignitaries.
The team is also invited later by the Honourable Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, on 12th April at 18:00 at Ganabhaban, to
discussion cooperation / advices on the proposed New Burn Hospital, Bangladesh.

3rd April:
Patient selection by NIBPS Team of DMCH, and by BSMMU.
4th April 2015:
- Arrival at 8:40 hrs, International Airport Dhaka.
- Press conference at 12:05 hrs.

5th April 2015 – 12. April 2015
Operations at NIBPS of DMCH, and at BSMMU, Dhaka. Everyday.
8:00 hrs – 9:00 hrs Lecture/Class for Advanced Training. Everyday.
